We met at Ithaca college through at a mutual friend's birthday party. A short and fleeting moment but enough for Emilia to get a cute girl's number saved safely in her phone. That number sat quietly for two years... until one day, it was randomly pocket-dialed. A pocket dial that would start the pursuit of a lifetime and countless adventures across the states. 

From our first outdoor adventure- a lighthearted 22nd birthday spent paddle boarding with the fantastically silly (and flirty) keeper of the paddle board rental shop keys,Lexi. A summertime fling soon turned into a tale as old as time. A Uhal- well not a Uhal in this case. An old Volvo and a chase to SLC Utah where our love story started. 

Learning to ski, visiting national parks in blizzard and pizza dates in the park watching dogs play became our Utah era and the beginning of all our adventures to come. Less than a year in and our cross country road trip led us to the tip of Washington, down the coast to California, over to Texas and back up to the start…Ithaca. 

With a paddle sport dream reignited Emilia started working for the very astute paddle shop manager who without a shadow of a doubt or any bias attached hired her super experienced (had paddled that one time during her birthday) girlfriend. Once the waves of the summer slowed down we were on to our next big move. Seattle. 

From weekend trips across the border, to river hikes, and more comedy shows and concerts than one of us thought fathomable (it’s Emilia) we settled into our new home away from everything we had known. Where we built our version of a perfectly imperfect life.

As time passed and rings were chosen the most epic weekend of events was cued to begin. With help from Billie Elish and Taylor Swift our engagement weekend commenced. In Vancouver, the day before Lexi’s swifty heart exploded for potentially the most epic concert of her existence- we became finances with a double proposal in the pouring rain amongst a light up tree top experience- that was a touch swift coded- okay actually blatantly Taylor Swift themed. 

As we start our new chapter we can’t wait to have you by our side.
